My coworker has asked me to give some dating tips to her 19 year old son. From a woman’s point of view, where do you think I should start?

Pot-smoking teen needs help
One of my 19-year-old son’s best friend’s parents not only let him smoke pot, they do it with him! Now he thinks they’re the “coolest” parents. The more we explain how “not cool” the behaviour is, the more he seems to gravitate to hanging out with this family.[...]

I’ve been dating my best friend for 3 years, and have lived with him for 2. He has not proposed yet, although one minute we’re looking for rings and the next minute he’s saying he can’t afford it. Our sex life is not good (he lasts for 2 minutes), and recently I have been meeting an old friend to fill in the sex department. I clean up after my bf and his dogs like I’m his maid, and his excuse is that he “works”. He does not give me $ or pay for my living expenses, so I don’t see that as an excuse. Needless to say, he doesn’t make me feel “special” anymore either.

What would you do? I love him but I’m contemplating moving out. Is this just a rutt that some couples go through?

k soo i like this girl at school and apparantly she likes me too but it seems like everytime i talk to her i become awekward in what i say to her and become quiet ……. its not like im an awekwardly social person, I have alot of friends a great personality, lots of confidence and i am a 9.5 out of 10 on the goodlooking scale according to other people.

why cant i be myself around this girl and what can i do to fix it?

My childs father left me when I was 2 months pregnant. We had only been dating for 4 months at that point and it wasnt the best relationship…I was his rebound. Anyways, now that our daughter is actually born, he comes over every night after work to see her and help take care of her. We get along really well as friends and we flirt too. Our relationship is very different now from when we dated before…we are sorta becoming best friends. Its been months since he said he didn’t want a relationship but I am really scared to ask him how he feels now b/c I was already rejected once. Any ideas of icebreakers on how to deal with this? I was thinking of saying something like “Are you really comfortable with our daughter having a step-father as a role model instead of you? You are going to regret someday not even trying to have her parents together for her.”

What do you think?

I like this girl that is a couple of years older than I am. A guy that knows her said that if I was at least year older that she would date me. Is it possible that I still have a chance? What do I do?
