Say, “I’m going to the movies Saturday. You should come with me.” Say whatever you want besides the movies, but say it just like that where he feels he’s obligated now.
Where in europe is he from? I spent a year abroad in europe, and lots of guys there are flirts (FYI) but this doesn’t mean your guy isn’t genuine. Just mention how you like the food where he is from and how you would love his help making it one evening.
Also, ask him to teach you some phrases, words, form his language, it will show him you are interested in his culture and he will appreciate it!
